When You are Engulfed in Wigfield

Ok, I have to admit David Sedaris is capital H Hilarious. This collection of short stories entitled When You are Engulfed in Flames is absolutely a laugh riot. Inside you will travel with Sedaris through his various awkward life situations and happinstanes. Honestly, why can't I be friends with this guy..........or this family. Which brings me to the book Wigfield co-written by Amy Sedaris. I'm not sure how I feel about the cover, but if it's anything like Strangers With Candy then I am DOWN!

Sad Days Are Bound to Happen

After almost 5 years of loyal service my trusty, yet thick and heavy ipod has taken a turn for worse. It all happened this morning when I plugged it in to charge. My computer didn't seem to read it and there seemed to be nothing on it. This made me sad and speachless. I felt I was staring at the blank canvas of a painting I had been working on for five years. I am sad that I have lost songs that I might not be able to retrieve again. I guess in the end everyone needs to be shot down every once in a while to know that they are still alive and not invincible.

P.S. I am too stubborn to buy a new ipod and will bleed every last drop out of this baby!
