2nd Post for Today-Thoughts for a Friday

Sometimes I get really frustrated when I am at work and am asked to do work. It's like a burden that I don't want to deal with. Especially when I am really into surfing the net or am trying to win an ebay bid. Below is my reaction.

Rats in Space

A few weeks ago a I got super stoney from eating some hash chocolate with a few friends. Now I usually don't really partake-not to say i'm against it-I just don't because of the pure stoneyness factor. Anyways, this was some wavy gravy style hash chocolate becuase I was just lit. I felt.......... pure amazingness. We then got it in our heads that we would call all the video stores in SF and ask about a certain movie and if they had it.

...ring.....ring.....
Me: Hello do you have that one movie with the........rat in it?
Store: Rat, hmmn? Ratatouille? Fivel Goes West? Despereaux?
Me: No, none of those.
Store: Can you elaborate?
Me: You know the movie with the rat in it where they go to space starring Tom Hanks.
Store: Tom Hanks? Apollo 13? Is this live action or a cartoon?
Me: It's definately live action. It co-stars Samuel L. Jackson.
Store:Is this a prank? (At this point i usually lost it and had to hang up)

I don't remember exactly what stores we called, but I do remember that Lost Weekend definately did not play along.

In the end, it makes me think back to when I was in middle school and a prank call was just a part of growing up in a small town, having nothing much to do and being a boy. This is of course pre nudie mags, cigars in the creek,loud music and baggy pants.

First of all, sorry to all my avid readers for my lack of posts. I have not been too busy, so I have no excuses. I honestly think that there is no point in blogging for the sake of blogging. Do you want to hear about how i painted some cabinets the other day? gold as a matter of fact. Or how about how i have to work at 7:30am tommorow? Lame! Or what about how my mom constantly calls me about coming to visit her all the time? Kinda cool! Or that i've been slightly obsessed with ebay? I've been buying knives and records lately. I'm also looking for a new camera-possibly the G10 Canon Powershot. And that I seem to have lost the charger and power chords to both my video camera and my scanner-Radio Shack or Intranet? Or that the neighbor really needs to clean the backyard so that I can really bbq the fuck out of it this summer. Cuba, Guatemala and Mexico in June! 2009 rock hard abs contest-with myself as the only contestant! Excersizing really does make you feel better-honestly.

Anyways, those are the random thoughts that are sinking around in my head at this point right. Once again I will be back when I have something funny or interesting to say!
